Before I loc'd my hair, I remember my mom having to sit me down to braid it. I do not miss those times.
I know the feeling. I can totally relate to this.
Oh I remember these times..not fondly either *shudders*
I really love this picture! I like the expressions and the lighting especially. While I may not relate to this kind of hair braiding, I do recall (bitterly XD ) the pain of having my mother brush my curly hair as a kid. -_-'
Do you have this for sale?
Yes, I do! (Sorry for the delay in response.) I'm currently selling prints of this on Etsy. Here's the link: etsy.com/shop/artbycati
Lol I know the pain
i'm glad my hair ain't that coarse >.>
This brings back some memories, man... *shakes head fondly* "Stop being so tender headed!"
Getting it combed at the hairline was the worst.
This is so beautiful! Love cute and comical expression in the girl's face! Awesome job, overall just awesome work!
I don't miss those times either, glad I got my hair changed too. It still hurts when I get it retwisted though because the hair dresser does it so tight and I have a sensitive scalp :'D
Lol I can imagine. I ended up doing my own because I was too cheap to see an actual hairdresser. So when I do retwist it, I have more control on how much pain I can inflict on myself.
Great feeling in this piece! I love the younger character's (your?) miffed expression, and the mom's gentle stoicism.
Lol it's not me, just a character. But yeah, thank you so much!
