That new puppy I mentioned in my previous entry turned one on May Day.  He's pretty much not a puppy anymore.  Since the end of February I've been entranced by my Kindle 2, reading almost constantly.  This is a magic gadget and I'm just now recovering from my infatuation. I had a whole bunch of dental work done, starting in September.  This is where a lot of my enthusiasm and joy went.  Fortunately, it's almost completed. I've done some knitting, too, and I'm starting to feel fractious again.  I'll put up photos of a few FOs (that's what knitters call Finished Objects, the obvious sequel to UFOs, UnFinished Objects).  I've got a bunch of UF

Well, life is going on.  We got a new puppy nine days ago, another collie.  Escrow closed on my mom's house two weeks ago and the probate is closed. For a while I lost my creativity and didn't make any fractals for ages.  I've been knitting a lot, mostly lace shawls and wraps.  Last week I started playing with Ultra Fractal again. I'm so rusty that it's purely pathetic but I'm getting my skills back.

I'm back.  Anyone want to buy a house in Lancaster, CA?  Three bedroom, two bathroom, good shape, carpet allowance?
