A D’Hol life is lived in four parts
The first is of water, it is one of abundance like the seasons of rain. Prone to turbulence like the white creased seas, unpredictable and thrashing like Jhila’s tail. Blessed with serenity like the streams and springs. The life of water is where one lives with abandon. Without fear of falling, of broken horns, or scraped arms. The life of water is one of experience and learning, moving ever forward until you, beloved brother, join the Sleeping Stone.
The second is of stone, where movement slows to a crawl, and stone begins to take your bones and eyes. It makes you heavy, but it makes you wis
Wether it was day or night Quinn didn’t know or care. His base- a defunct Grem Corps. exploration sub- hummed with life and machinery. It was spacious and surprisingly dry, considering it was well beneath the water. its interior was cast in a glow from hundreds of screens each broadcasting a different image, some flickering between various feeds. Quinn hummed as he rolled back in his chair, tail flicking with pent up energy. Around him several hovering robots, each baring his visage darted around, tiny mechanical arms tinkering with gadgets or cleaning, or in the case of one, playing on a small handheld as several others floated around
Before the sun could begin to peak between the heavy curtains that darkened the palace rooms a plot was already unfolding. Ruijin- a Xrin of royal blood, Dark furred and auburn maned- stalked the darkened halls, resorting to walking like a beast to keep silent. A spell spoken under his breath brought the gem in his chest to life, a soft orange glow spilling from it. At his words energy and light coted his hands and hooves in a muffling spell. Now fully silent, he walked- creeping across the gray marble halls. In the dark, the palace was unsettling, eerie, and silent. Overhead, pillar sculpts of ancient Holy Emperors cast down judgmental

Not that much of it was going to get done, the constant overcast of the day threating more rain. More rain that would suck tires into already oversaturated earth, and damage crops. With his task done now a new problem arose. Beforehand he had Gray to lead him to the Mother but having been away for so long his link to Gray had long since been severed. He looked nervously around the woods. They were far less intimidating now with the first rays of light filtering in from the bottom of the trees, less intimidating- but still intensely confusing. Yet again he whined, roaming though thick roots and ducking under low branches, feelings rather helpless as he made his way through the natural maze.

He stared at her, glad that the beast remained between them.
"Hello..." he mummbled, He pulled in on himself staring at the grem across from him, unsure of where to go. Though, Away, seemed like an option he rather liked.

"Why are you following me?" he asked, his tone

Antioch hadn't intended on dozing off when he had let himself rest against the crystal he had found, but the warmth of it and the gentle dance of the light above his head had done just that. Antioch still felt like he was floating as he roamed though the wood. He had met her! He met the being called Mother and she had left him with a wonderful gift. He couldn’t help glancing up to look at the gently twinkling light that floated just between his ears. It was beautiful, almost as beautiful as the Mother, he knew her ethereal form would be something he would dream of for months to come, both terrifying and glorious, as the vastness of space seemed to expand from within her. His reverie was broken by a loud sound to his side, making him jump and quickly stifle a yelp as something large trudged by. Another sleeping Shepherd
