This is ewwclipse

So I closed all other tabs on my browser and opened in it only: My Watch page with Deviations; 5 random deviation pages from it, in separate tabs (I always browse deviations in separate tabs). That is a total of 6 tabs open, only 6. Normally I have over a dozen tabs open on my browser and unless at least 3-4 of them are of ewwclipse (i.e. DA), it doesn't climb over 5% CPU while I'm not doing anything. 6 tabs open on DA ONLY - and that alone kept the CPU usage of the browser consistently between 40% and 60% usage with random spikes up to 80% - WHILE I WAS NOT DOING ANYTHING WITH IT.

Conclusion: Ewwclipse really really sucks. It's also very environmentally unfriendly, and that is a bloody anti-achievement for a feckin internet site. In case you wonder, I am rather certain this is the impact of the tracking bullshit they stuffed this site with, which they used to spy on us and generate money. Congratulations, DA. You've hit yet another bottom.


Edit: Ah yeah, in case that wasn't self-explanatory, this alone makes me reluctant to go browsing DA. It just feels.... dirty. If they are okay with wasting away energy because they can't make a decent site, well I am not. Fuck DA.
