Description
The day cleared after the storm, outlining the fjords crystal clear in golden sunlight.
Low clouds on the horizon and small particles of mist still lingering between the mountains.
We had received more than we could have wanted or even dreamed of.... or even imagined.
Hail Beelzebub.
View from the edge of the Brosmetinden cliffside, somewhere along the slope.
This is the view south, towards the opening of Ersfjorden into the ocean.
On the left, only the slope of Skamtinden (882 m) is seen here, the Queen of Ersfjorden.
In its feet the Rekvikdalen is still misty, and the small Rekvik bay is slightly visible too.
Behind, the mountain chain on the horizon are the southern Ersfjord mountains.
Directly behind Skamtinden, is the massif of Styrmannen (817 m), partially in clouds.
Right from it, Fiskenestinden / Breitinden (843 m), now its peak is hidden only just.
The straight ridge visible behind and between is Rundtinden (694 m), part of Vasstinden.
The long one to the right is Bremnestinden (785 m), which is the westernmost.
Behind Bremnestinden, the other mountain is actually part of Høgøya island.
In front of Bremnestinden, the tiny island Risøya can be spotted.
On the right end, the southern end of Sessøya emerges in the picture.
04.10.2018, Brosmetinden (525 m).
