Description
Dance of mists and fading sunfire, mist rolling through the fjord and after us, heralding a nightstorm.
Every moment, every glimpse.... so unique.
View from the feet of Brosmetinden, southwest to the opening of Ersfjord into the ocean.
The mountain silhouette in the mist to the right is Sessøya, now the peaks covered in mist.
On the other side of the fjord, the southern Ersfjorden mountains are slightly more visible.
The one on the left is Breitinden (843 m), and the one in the cloud is Bremnestinden (785 m).
In front of the Bremnestinden cape the tiny island Risøya is sitting in the quiet fjord.
Behind it, small part of Høgøya is still visible, a bit hard to discern from the cape.
Beyond, on the horizon, a distant epic mountain range is faintly visible under sunset clouds.
These mountains are part of the picturesque Senja, about 30 km away from where we stand.
04.10.2018, Brosmetinden (525 m).
