Description
The ø (resp. oe) is not an o, it actually doesn't have an English analogue.
It's roughly a combination between the vowels in birch and book.
As the blue dusk crept slowly over the sky reflected by the blue waters, we just stood on the wind-blown top and enjoyed.
There have to be more moments in life where you can just stay silently and enjoy the magnificence of the Earth.
View from the top of Treørningen towards the northern part of Kaldfjorden.
The small bays of Lyfjorden (left) and Skulsfjorden (right) directly below, with Klubben (109 m) between them.
The dark mountainside seen on the edge of the picture to the left is the great slope of Storefjellet (560 m).
Beyond are the mountains on the west side of Kaldfjorden. Right to left:
The dark brown Rundkollen mountain (522 m) with Brattfjellet (557 m) on its left side.
The small dark hill that is kinda vague on its left is Høgheia (209 m) and is the feet of those behind it.
Behind it is Storholten / Middagsfjellet (677 m) with the Bondslettskaret saddle-like valley next to it.
Further left, the second biggest and peaky massif of Orvasstinden (980 m) and Breitinden (963 m).
Then Storeblåmann (1 044 m), part of its cliffwall visible, while the peak as always hidden in the clouds.
Behind it, is the massif of Buren (802 m), with the jagged cliff wall of Rødtinden also well visible here.
Also, behind Rundkollen and Middagsfjellet the mountains from beyond Grøtfjorden are peering.
The higher, rather rounded one partially obscured by Middagsfjellet is Ramnberget (743 m).
The farther pyramid-shaped one further away is most likely Sørtinden (724 m).
02.10.2018, Trehørningen (283 m).
