Description
I took my camera out of my jacket despite the snowstorm was still raging, because this just had to be captured.
The snow flying all around us, we emerged from inside the cloud on the edge of the cliff above the Ocean.
We made it beyond the storm into a new world, made of dreams and clouds. A realm that may have as well been in the sky.
That moment.... when we stood upon the edge just as the storm began to clear.... that moment I just knew.
The forecast that changed so abruptly.
The blizzard that hailed us upon entering the valley.
The blizzard that came down on us as we began climbing.
A trail of resolve and courage.
And finally.... having made it through the storm, the reward of this unimaginable sky realm.
The blizzard opened into easily the most beautiful and otherworldly scene I've seen in my life.
This whole day bore the mark of Beelzebub.
The beauty, to which we could only arrive if we were resilient enough.
Because he gives great gifts, but he gives after you have earned it.
Then again.... this is how you appreciate it even far more.
For that I incessantly thank him. Hail Beelzebub.
View from the edge of the Brosmetinden cliffside, somewhere along the slope.
From here, the view towards the open ocean is magnificent, and right now, misty.
A few islands can be spotted, nevertheless:
The biggest island right ahead is Sessøya, only it's northern end emerging.
The tiny speck beside is called Oternesholmen (the name is probably bigger than it XD ).
Behind it, partially hidden by both Sessøya and the mist, is the smaller island Bjørnøya.
The one on the far right is Røssholmen, which is a part of a small archipelago.
