Elephants

And now for something "casual" from me.

Casual when it comes to background story and underlying meaning.... and I had been hoping it would be casual in terms of drawing. Aww, how naïve of me. The manymanymanymany wrinkles.... and I haven't even drawn nearly as many as there should be. Still, for a first ever attempt at drawing an animal like this, I think it isn't bad. Learned this and that about trunk dynamics and surface anatomy. For example, I learned that it's insane

As for the background of the drawing.... I went through a tough spot last month, and in short, I drew it for my dentist who was there to help despite going through a really, really tough moment in her life. I believe she likes elephants.


P.S. Still trying to resume drawing more regularly.
