I'm actually very proud of this image. I had actually hit a wall when making it and I couldn't see it go anywhere creatively and through this image I learned the importance of sometimes walking away from something and coming back to finish it later.
I simply cannot wait to be able to see the actual article in the magazine once I get it in March! I just got February's today, so it can't be more than a month now

Really stunning image, too!
I don't, it was mainly focused on the DS/PS side of it, but it was pretty simple. I draped splines over V5 in 3dsmax, then used an Align script to align spheres (the beads) along the splines while looking for any "pokethrough" and rearranging it as needed. The cloth is a plane moved around in zbrush to look like, well, cloth *laughs*
