Around May, spring 2006 my dad found an digital camera under a pile of snow. He took it home, removed all the removeable parts, heating them up at the radiator. Anxious as I was I wondered; "Am I finally getting one of those Digital Cameras? One of those, flashy thingers that lets me take billion of photos fer no cost of devoloping?" Yes, soon enough it worked proerly. My father even created a funky looking charger for the battery. So we booted it up to check the memory card.
The camera was an older version of an Canon Digital Ixus. Only 2 megapixels, and the zoom wasn't that amazing, but that camera became one of my most precious little tools. Traveled the world it has.
I'm by far not a pro... I've never taken any classes either. I take lots of these photos whenever I go somewhere., be it a walk, or travelling or just the backyard. Photography has always been a little hobby I never could exploit due to no camera.
Now, I got a 8MP Canon Digital Ixus that is also becoming a bit outdated. I long for the day I can afford a compact system camera.
