History-
Alvin comes from a wealthy family in Wall Sina's Stohess District. He always wanted to make people happy and cook, so he got a job at a bakery when he was 10. He's an Oriental. Two traffickers almost kidnapped Alvin, but he fended them off and got a scar from one of them so he knows how Mikasa feels about her parents. He signed up for the military at 12.

He met Sophie in their trainee days. They didn't exactly hit it off at first, but months went on they fell in love. They both went into the Scouts. His first expedition he saw a best male friend of his get his head bitten off by a titan. He almost lost it until Sophie calmed him down. He eared the title 'Humanity's Fastest' because of how fast he can run and how fast he can take down a Titan. In their cadet days he and Sophie got called 'The Dynamic Duo' because they do almost everything together.

When they turned 18 they got married and in their mid 20s their son Claude was born. They were crushed when they learned Claude's terminal illness and even more devastated when they got a letter from Grisha about his passing. He didn't handle either times well.

He went with Erwin and Mike to the Underground City. He made a brotherly bond with Levi and tried to teach him there's nothing wrong with soldiers showing emotions. After seeing Levi staring at Farlan's upper body and Isabel's severed head, Alvin shows his sympathy with him, telling him what happened to his friend. The couple asked Erwin and Levi if they could help look out for Katia and friends. He was shocked about Eren's Titan form, but he knows he wouldn't hurt anyone intentionally.
