Cardinals Girl - WIP

A really good friend of mine saw the Eagles Girl piece I did (shameless plug here [link]) and asked me to do one for the Arizona Cardinals. I'm actually a little troubled by the fact that this one may turn out better than what I drew for my beloved Eagles.


I've been on this mission to improve my coloring with each work, but I've kind of reached a sticking point with this one. One of the comments I've received in the past have been to include some highlights. I definitely want to work that into this piece, but I'm not really sure how to pull it off technique-wise. I'm open to any suggestions from all the coloring gurus out there. Thanks!
