This is my entry for the Elfquest pinup calendar, which is already released and can be found here: [link] 
I'm in absolute awe from all the gorgeous art, and soon there are two more calendars with weekly pinups to come 
I feel a bit ashamed being next to all the amazing artists, but I know I did my best with this entry and I gave it all my strength and love that I could. I wish I could draw more characters, but I failed
I went for the safest option with cel-shading, but now I regret about not blending everything and stuff
I actually love Scouter and I think he is a very interesting developing character. I wanted to show him more mature and at peace after all the events he's been through before.

Heyyy no! I had a look at that site and I think you fit right in with all those artists! And not to down talk them, but I even think yours is better than a lot of them! I actually really like this - his calm expression (except maybe for the little drawing on the right 
) and his good-spirited pose and gesture. I think you made the right choice with cell-shading! It really suits the piece!
