Bonjour!
I’m an intense theater geek and poetic freak.
I live for connection and creation. I love all forms of artistic expression, and am drawn to big blocks of colour; smooth, softly blended paint; transcendent licked-brush perfection; the rushed strokes of impressionism in its effort to capture a single moment; extravagent musicals; dark miserable art; catharsis; Bacchus style revelry; Bukowski; tennebrism; striped down theatre; motion; purpose; philosophy and love.

This section is more for my ego and memory than anything else.. thinking back on plays I've performed in: I’ve played a snooty actrice, lovesick bimbette, a little boy with a big imagination, talk-show host, but more importantly a mother who’s lost a son, a mighty sea witch, kick ass archer chick, a woman going through an existential crises regarding her clitoris, a wife trying weed for the first time, maenad for the God of wine and theatre: Dionysus, and a victim who succumbs to the worst form of revenge by taking fate into her own hands.

I mostly do pencil/graphite/charcoal art, but I love watercolor, and sometimes I fiddle with acrylic.
I also stare at lots and lots of photography…
One day I hope to be respected in the art and theater world. Many, many years from now, when I have spent time working on these crafts.
I play the piano religiously. When I’m away from home, thinking of my piano makes me homesick. Also my fluffy cat: Sebastian.
I love laughing till your sides hurt, watching movies all the way to the end of the credits, going to the dentist, eating passion-fruit just for the name, pretending I'm a horse, falling in love with strangers and never seeing them again because the ache in your heart is satisfyingly melancholic, grocery shopping, talking late into the night/morning with your soulmate, writing snail mail, opening the mail box, eating pistachios, chocolate, a woman's curves, getting love letters, burning your regrets, doing things you're terrified of because the rush of adrenaline is a reminder you're living, and I love love.


Optimism is contagious.
