She bit her lip nervously and looked down at her mehendi covered hands. She studied the intricate designs that crawled their way up to her forearms. Her mind was filled with fear, hope, curiosity, and anxiousness. She hoped that she made the right decision, she loved him with all her heart, but her mother always said "A woman is meant for marriage and is meant to love and be loved." Hopefully her mother was right. She had always intended to have one happy, successful marriage. She watched as her friends decorated her face with gorgeous kajal and gold eyeshadows. Her friends giggled around her excited for the wedding and ethnic music was softly playing in the background. As her mother put her bindi on with tear filled eyes, the wedding music came on. She stood, and gave a nervous smile to her mother. this was really happening. Her nervousness could not be vanquished, as she sat down in her place and could not see her soon to be husband, she thought about all their time together, and knew that this was going to be the greatest decision of her entire lifetime.
