The themes are GTK2 and they are really outdated because GNOME uses GTK3 now.
I'm not using GTK themes for about 2 years now. Not sure how I could help you. Sorry!

No, GNOME classic is also GNOME3. The icon set is no longer available because of license problems. I'm really sorry.

In order for the conky script to work everywhere you could just rename the image location to"${image ~/conky-102-bg.png -p 0,-0}" and warn the people to move the image to their home folder
