I've been away for awhile (again). As you can see I'm still struggling with horrible bouts of art block and all of the lovely flavors of crippling paralysis that comes with it. At least it can't be said that I am not inconsistent in this case.
Life goes on and carries us all forward whether we are ready for it or not. I've been working more on my musical projects, discovering new crafts in which to occupy my free time in the last year, and preparing for a move (fingers crossed) sometime soon this year into a new house which will hopefully provide a much better space in which for me to create.
I hope to be a lot more active here in 2016,
I recently signed up to be part of this year's Extra Life fundraising effort, where gamers from all over the world participate in a 24hr gaming marathon to raise money for children's hospitals. I love video games, and hardly need any excuse at all to play for 24hrs straight. However, getting to do this for my community feels great especially since I am not currently in a position where I can donate actual money. I am donating my time instead (which is also valuable) as well as some personal incentive awards for those that wish to support me.

Yeah, so August was pretty much a fail where dA related art was concerned. I guess I just got busy with other things and honestly didn't manage my time as well as I could have. Since the previous post was all about accountability, I'm fully admitting my shortcomings here.
Even so, I'm making some good progress in other areas of my life where I've also got a long list of goals I'm working towards accomplishing. I'm still trying to find that magical balance for it all.
Life is good and I am happy.
I will keep at it, but in the meantime I think I will put off doing any more of these monthly goals until I can be better focus
