I don't recommend it. Leaving FB after being on it since 2009 has done WONDERS for my mental health. It's not worth it, especially if you are currently struggling with stress, anxiety, or depression. Unless you limit your friend list to only 10 people you know VERY well who do not post political, religious or any kind of opinionated things and have no intention to argue with every fucking thing you post (which seems to be the mentality of everyone on there anymore, no matter WHO) and avoid every comment section of every page you follow in your newsfeed-... it's just worth it. I tried limiting everything I followed to videogame updates, movies and cats... still so many negative nasty things popping up. Making my own posts (even set to friends only) gave me anxiety cuz I just knew someone was going to argue with me. People I have known my whole life and thought loved me. FB makes people angry and paranoid so anything and everything " trigger" even the kindest of people. You are purposely misunderstood by others to the point of being on the defensive all the time. I'm just starting to relax on DA as I'm seeing that notifications don't mean that someone is trying to start shit with me over nothing. But I'm still afraid of what I write on here to avoid confrontation if possible.
TL;DR ...don't use FB for the sake of your sanity.
