Thank you
I guess I'll continue posting stuff here on DeviantArt [whilst still getting used to Eclipse].
Otherwise I thought of starting with ArtStation - and before that build up some more of a portfolio. I know I already have several uploads here, and some that I would definitely also post on ArtStation. But I wanted to go like "only the very very best", you know - where composition, coloring, gradients, anatomy, ... fits very well. Maybe a too-high-goal XD [sometimes I tend to be quite perfectionistic]. I'll see :)
As for some other things, I might really send pictures via email. I don't photograph or scan/scan-and-upload all things here that I do.

I've thought about artstation too, but I decided I wasn't a fan of their sites layout. I tried to inquire their faq services on a few things and I never got a reply to my questions back. So much for customer services. They had some classes I was looking at. Lost money they did. :/
Sounds good, usually I would trust people for that kind of thing and warn you off of sharing on a email but your safe with me because I despise theft. Like its a huge pet peeve. Especially art theft... *Imagine that in a weird cartoony horror voice.*

I see :/
As for DeviantArt, I usually get an answer from the support. Except for my last request concerning Eclipse - no answer in a few days... I think an active support is important - I don't like being on a site where I have the feeling that I can't reach anyone if I need someone, or where I have a feeling like I only get standard answers. I had that once with a more professional art hiring site, and I absolutely didn't feel well there in the end. I quitted soon, hoping that they really did delete everything they got from me in the registration/verification process.
XD ^^
Yes, I do trust you there. I wouldn't trust just anyone with such things, and there you are right to warn me (or people in general). Especially not scans or photographs in high resolution...

They are being flooded with responses to eclipse right now its almost impossible to get through. I would imagine they are seeing a lot of the same complaints and requests.
Yup, hating a lot of these sites. Usually they keep the info for statistical data and other market research.
Yup I will send you some pictures too as I move along with Necromancer. :D Sound cool?

I wonder how people get seen on there to obtain enough traffic to gain donations?

LadySeshiiria I think you just have to keep trying, any promo takes time. I've got a Ko-Fi for my project Reynard City ( www.ko-fi.com/reynardcity ) and we have various rewards for people who donate to us (also you can see our comic at www.reynardcity.com )

Ahah thank you, I was mostly posting this to see if anyone else on here had a ko-fi, not so much how active it was. I don't care much if it is or not. I'm more interested in art than anything, but donations are helpful from time to time, so having one has been good. Not really expecting and overnight success either. Thank you for sharing!

Thank you, its not really a contest so much as a kiriban though. Contests usually denote competition. :D
