In Loving Memory... by LadyRavenhawk In Loving Memory... by LadyRavenhawk
I must tell you the story of this cat.
It seems like every time I am going through a rough patch, a cat will turn up in my life. Such is the case with Jack. Jack showed up one afternoon when I was sitting on my porch, damn near in tears. You see, I had just fought with two of my friends. So there I was, sitting on my porch, smoking a cigarette, trying to read a book and not cry when all of a sudden I have 10 pounds of orange cat in my lap.
This cat hung around for several weeks and my husband named him Jack. Jenni named him Morris. I'm sure others had names for him to. He sort'a belonged to everyone and no one.
Well, a couple days ago, on my way to the store, I saw Jack. Unfortunately, he was hit by a car and is no longer with us. But I will always remember how he came to me and made my day a little brighter when it seemed I was alone.
Thank you, Jack, for being such a sweet animal. You will be missed.

It sounds like Jack had a really good life with lots of love. I bet he's watching over you now.

Beautiful Cat, sorry to hear about what happened.
He's probably playing with my Tara Kitty in the next world.

Awwww he's so sweet he looks just like a cat my Mom had when I was growing up... his name was Schnee (No idea why we named an orange cat a work that means snow...) he was the sweetest thing. I have yet to see an orange Tabby i didn't like... Poor boy. I hope he is chasing mice and making friends wherever it is cats go after this life

Me too. I was so sad to see him in the road. :( I'm sure he's happy where ever he is now. I just wanted to post a picture of him as kind of a way of saying goodbye.

That was a good thought :) I love your icon/display picture/pentacle thingey right there. Are you Pagan or Wiccan? (Please don't take offense if you aren't)
