Mistress of Ceremonies Spotlight

Svetlana nació en Bucarest, Rumanía. Era hija de una asistente de mago. Jamás conoció a su padre, qué a su entender fue algún mago con el que trabajo su madre. La niña se crió en al ambiente del espectáculo y del engaño. Los diferentes magos con los que trabajo su madre le enseñaron algunos de sus trucos, los cuales domino con grant rapidez mostrando aptitud para la ilusión y la prestidigitación. Ella asistió a la escuela como cualquier niña normal hasta los diez años cuando su madre se caso con el mago de un famoso circo que recorría todo el país. Tuvo sentimientos encontrados, por un lado estaba la vida que estaba abandonando: sus amigos, el estudio que tanto disfrutaba y en cual tanto destacaba; y por el otro la vida del espectáculo que tanta emoción le provocaba.

Pero sus primer año de viaje con el circo no fue del todo agradable. El mago era muy bueno con su madre, pero con ella era un cuento diferente. La insultaba, la golpeaba, la maltrataba en todo sentido posible. Svetlana no se atrevía a delatarlo al ver a su madre tan feliz con el. El domador del circo se dio cuenta de algunos de los golpes que tenia, pero al hablar con ella nunca admitía que el mago era quien los provocaba aunque este lo sospechara. Sin la acusación no podía hacer mucho, pero tuvo una idea.

El domador le empezó a enseñar sus trucos, el como hacia para que los animales le obedecieran o en el peor de los casos como evitar que lo lastimaran. Este le explico el comportamiento de las bestias, haciendo muchas referencias al parecido que tenían con el hombre. Svetlana se intereso mucho y comenzó a convivir con animales pacíficos como caballos o chimpancés, hasta fieras como leones y tigres. Estos últimos eran sus favoritos, comenzó apreciar mucho la belleza de los mismos. El domador cuidaba mucho de ella y Svetlana disfrutaba mucho el tiempo lo que aprendía de el. La practica era importante, pero creía que podía mejor con teoría. En todo pueblo o ciudad donde paraban, ella visitaba la biblioteca. Se convirtió en una devoradora de libros. Algunos le fascinaban tanto que terminaba hurtándolos de la biblioteca. El domador se llego a enterar, pero nunca le reclamo incluso comentaba que es parte del espíritu del circo. Svetlana sin ir a la escuela comenzó a tener un nivel de inteligencia mayor al de los niños de su edad.

Al ver al domador haciendo su trabajo comprendió otra cosa, él usaba mucho su fuerza física. Algo que ella no tenia y que no se veía muy interesada en obtener, así que opto mejorar su destreza física con la ayuda de los acróbatas del circo. De esa manera Svetlana comenzó a dominar las artes de la magia, la acrobacia y el control de las bestias. Dándole un particular placer y retorcido placer el ultimo al punto que alguna veces el domador detenía el daño que le hacia a los animales.

Aun así, seguía teniendo un problema. El mago que la atacaba como bestia. Svetlana tuvo una interesante idea, si el mago era una bestia podía ser domada. Estudiando libros (robados) del comportamiento humano y su conocimiento para doblegar animales, el mago fue el primer sujeto al que sometió a una paulatina prueba para domarlo. Quiso iniciar de manera sutil, con sugestiones en su convivencia diaria y usando el estimulo-respuesta de Pávlov. Pero los humanos eran más resistentes que una fiera para ser domados, tardo años usando de sujeto de pruebas al mago haciendo muy escasos los golpes que sufría de el pero no logrando el control que deseaba.

Cuando tuvo 17 años fue cuando entendió una cosa, si quería domar a una persona tenia que rebajarla al estatus de un animal. El mago desapareció 6 meses enteros. Reapareció una mañana frente al tren en el que viajaban, desnudo, con muchas heridas de diferente índoles por todo el cuerpo, tembloroso y socialmente disfuncional. Su  comportamiento fue descrito como el de un animal, solo hacia sonidos guturales, era incapaz de valerse por si mimo, comía y bebía como si fuera un perro. Nadie supo lo que le paso, solo Svetlana... que lo veía con gran satisfacción e incluso con excitación. "Tal vez... se me paso la mano" se dijo a si misma en varias ocasiones, sin arrepentirse. Svetlana evito tener contacto con él hasta el día que se lo llevaron al sanatorio. Al pasar los meses y superar la tragedia, su madre tomo el lugar del mago, logrando un mayor éxito que su ahora disfuncional esposo.

Cuando alcanzo los 18 años, Svetlana convenció a su madre meterla a la universidad usando los ahorros que tenían. No fue de inmediato, pero sus técnicas de persuasión ayudaron. Solo tuvo algunos problemas técnicos para entrar a la universidad, pero los logro superar e inicio su carrera medicina buscando la especialidad en Psiquiatría.

En los años que estuvo en la universidad logro conseguir diferentes becas que le facilitaron el pagar su carrera. Se hizo amiga de Elena una joven genio estudiante de genética con la que compartía un departamento. Para mala suerte de Elena, su personalidad sumisa la convirtió en la sirvienta de Svetlana con su método de domesticación en desarrollo. Con ella tuvo mucho más cuidados, pues quería su personalidad intacta y funcional.

Cuando cursaba la carrera se asistió a muchas clases de psicología como oyente, algo que se comento mucho entre los psicólogos al ser ella mas versada que los mismo estudiantes. Fue en una de estas clases donde conoció a James, un joven grande y corpulento de pelo largo, de rostro tosco al que nadie definiría como atractivo. Este joven habia quedado embelesado con el rostro de porcelana  de Svetlana. Muchas veces intento acercarse a ella, siendo ignorado por la misma. El pensaba que era por su aspecto, pero la realidad era que Svetlana tenia su mente ocupada con sus estudios y sesiones con Elena. Un día para desgracía de James, todo cambio y Svetlana se intereso en el.

Jovenes de la clase de psicología decidieron reunirse en un bar invitando a Svetlana. Los jóvenes no tenían gran esperanza de que aceptara, esta siempre solía negarse. Para su sorpresa ella acepto, Elena estaba visitando a su familia ese fin de semana y sin ella para divertirse vio la oportunidad de estudiar a los jóvenes en la fiesta y bajo el influjo del alcohol. James también asistió esperando poder charlar con Svetlana.

La noche transcurrió tranquila y divertida para los jovenes, Svetlana sorprendió a muchos con su carisma. La mayoría pensaba que era una típica niña pedante. Incluso James tuvo una conversación muy agradable con ella, donde al ver que de pronto sacaba una libreta haciendo muchas anotaciones en un lenguaje que no entendía le cuestiono de la misma revelando ella con mucho orgullo que es un código que aprendió en el circo donde se crió. Esto hizo más atractiva a Svetlana a los ojos de James que enfoco mucho su conversación sobre la convivencia de ella con los animales. La noche parecía ir muy bien con los chicos, pero los problemas interrumpieron su charla.

Un convoy de motociclista llego al bar, entraron sujetando armas de fuego y aseguraron la puerta tras ellos. Apuntando con ellas al personal y algunos de los clientes, pidieron a todos que apagaran sus celulares y entregaran todas las pertenencias que tuvieran además de agregar que esa noche el bar y todos los presentes eran suyos.

Svetlana de pronto sintió a su espalda justo donde estaba James la presencia de un fiera escabullirse. Al voltear su compañero de clase ya no estaba ahí. Uno de los motocilista se vio atraído por Svetlana, acercándosela. Ella lo amenazo diciendo que se arrepentiría si se atrevía a tocarla. Cuando el motociclista estuvo apunto de tomarla del brazo con fuerza, una garra enorme tomo el brazo del tipo. Un enorme hombre-lobo lo miro con enojo para luego arrojarlo a un grupo de sus amigos sorprendido al verlo. Vârcolac  gritaron algunos de los motociclista disparandole. Svetlana había escuchado rumores de Vârcolac, un hombre disfrazado de lobo que atacaba criminales. Pero ella lo tuvo a pocos centímetros y pudo asegurar que no era un disfraz. Un hombre bestia, un mitico hombre lobo, Vârcolac. Su presencia la excito y un pensamiento la invadió: "Debe ser mío".

Vârcolac se encargo de todos los motociclistas dejándolos inconscientes y muy lastimados. Los borrachos amigos de James no se percataron de la ausencia del mismo al termino de la noche, pero la muy sobria y perspicaz Svetlana tenia los cabos muy atados.

Al día siguiente, Svetlana cito a James a un lugar privado y prácticamente  abandonado de la universidad. Se le acerco y sujeto su mano con un moneda de plata en ella. La piel de James reacciono confirmando que la plata si dañaba a los hombres lobos como en las películas. James admitió que habia sido muy descuidado con ella, no era sorpresa que descubriera su identidad. Svetlana se sorprendió de ver que James se avergonzaba de su otra forma, ella lo motivo a transformarse ahí admirando ese lado bestial que tenia. La chica de su sueños, la chica de la que se había enamorado estaba frente a el aceptando su forma  de lobo. Cuando este se transformo ella no tuvo reparo alguno en besarle y con ello atrapando a James en su garrar.

Svetlana tardo en reunir el equipo que necesitaría para contener a James. Siendo este mismo quien prácticamente le contó lo que necesitaba. La sugestiones sutiles en James fueron más rápidas  y efectivas de lo esperado. Los vínculos sentimentales ayudaban para el dominio de la persona. Svetlba ansiaba ver como reaccionaria al tratamiento intensivo.

James desapareció al año y Vârcolac jamás volvió a ser visto en Rumania. Svetlana ahora sabia que seres como hombres-lobo eran reales y que existian en más variedades de las que pensaba. Queria más de ellos.

Al terminar la Universidad, Elena se habia convertido en su sirvienta incondicional, James era su mascota personal y un par hombres ricos desafortunados se volvieron sus inversores para el circo que comenzaría muy pronto.

Svetlana con la ayuda de James, logro hacerse de algunos hombres y mujeres bestia. Con sus principales atracciones lista puso circo privado en marcha y comenzo a recibir gran cantidad de dinero. La  principal inquietud de ella estar rodeada de seres muy peligrosos, sabia que su metodos los tenian bajo su control y tenia amplia confianza en ello. Mas si alguno se revelaba en un momento inadecuado necestiaba alwgo para defenderse, mejor aun, para someterlo.

Fue entonces que conocio a una singular chica serpiente. Su garras y colmillos estaban cargados con un poderoso veneno que le arrebato la vida a muchas de sus mascotas que estuvieron a cargo de atraparla. La sometio, pero a diferencia de sus demás mascotas, a ella no la puso en entrenamiento. La sometio a una dolorosa investigación de sus habilidades. Elena, que se habia convertido en su investigadora privada con un gran conocimiento en la gentica, fue la encargada en develar todos lo secretos de la chica serpiente. Todo con el objetivo de otorgarle las habilidades de sus garras a Svetlana. 

Fue un procedimiento delicado y peligroso, la chica serpiente no sobrevivio. Svetlana por el contrario, obtuvo lo que deseaba y un poco más. Un efecto secundario del procedimiento fue un incremento en sus sentidos y un incremento en su instinto animal. Puso aprueba sus habilidades luchando feroz mento contra algunas de sus mascotas, su fuerza podia no ser mucha, pero su agilidad y destreza eran mortales. El paralizador era practicamente inmediato de inyectarse la dosis adecuada, si no, al ir lastimando a su contricante su cuerpo comenzaba a entumirse volviendolo más suceptible a su ataque.

Svetlana se escondia tras un rostro de muñeca de porcelana y una personilad amable, ocultando la fiera depravada, sadica y dominante que existia en su interior.

Svetlana was born in Bucharest, Romania, as the daughter of a magician's assistant. She never knew her father, who for all she knew was a magician who worked with her mother, and grew up in the atmosphere of showmanship and trickery. Because of this, Svetlana learned many of the tricks from the different magicians that her mother worked with, and quickly showed a natural ability to cast illusions and use sleight of hand. She attended school like any normal child until the age of ten, when her mother married a famous magician performing in a circus that ran throughout the country. However, she had mixed feelings about this. On the one hand, she was leaving the life she lived - her friends and her studies, both of which she greatly enjoyed, but the life of the show provoked so much emotion in her.

Unfortunately, her first year on the road with the circus was not entirely pleasant. The magician may have been very good to her mother, but his behavior towards her was a different story. He insulted, beat, and mistreated her in any way possible. Svetlana didn't dare to expose his actions because she saw her mother so happy with him. Another member of the circus, the animal trainer, noticed some of the marks and bruises Svetlana had, but she never admitted that the magician was the one who caused it. The trainer had his suspicions, but he couldn't accuse the magician without proof. He had another idea though.

He began to teach her new tricks, different from the ones she was used to. Things like making the animals follow her commands, or at least prevent her from being hurt by them. It helped her to understand their behavior, and she started to notice many nuances to the relationship they had with the man. Svetlana was becoming very interested in them, and began to live with the peaceful animals like the horses and chimpanzees, eventually living with the more dangerous beasts like lions and tigers. The latter were her favorites, and she greatly appreciated the beauty of them. The trainer took good care of her and Svetlana greatly enjoyed the time that she learned from him. Her practices were important, but she believed she could improve on his theories and techniques. Because of this, in any town or city where they stopped, she visited the library. She became a bookworm, so fascinated by the books and the information they held, that she started stealing the books so she could learn more and more. Eventually, the trainer found out about her, but instead of punishing her, he simply claimed that it was part of the spirit of the circus, and let her keep learning that way. In time, and without going to school, Svetlana began to develop a higher intelligence level than most children her age.

Seeing the trainer doing his job made her realize something. He used great physical strength, which was something she did not have, nor was at all interested in gaining. Instead, she opted to improve her physical skills with the help of the circus acrobats. In time, Svetlana had mastered the arts of magic, acrobatics, and controlling the beasts, although the last one gave her a particularly twisted pleasure that sometimes the trainer would have to step in to prevent any damage she could do to the animals.

Even with all these abilities, she still had a problem: the magician who had attacked her like a beast. This gave Svetlana an interesting idea. If the magician had attacked her like a beast, then like the beasts she worked with which had been tamed, then he too could be tamed. Studying her stolen books on human behavior, and combining it with her knowledge on subduing animals, the magician was her first subject she'd experiment on to see if she could gradually tame him. She decided to start subtly, with some simple suggestions about his daily living and trying to build a Pavlovian stimulus response. However, she quickly realized that humans were far more resistant than beasts when it came to taming them, and it took several slow years of testing and work on her subject. Even though the he was abusing her less and less, she was not gaining the control over him that she wanted.

When she became 17 years old, she realized one thing. If she wanted to tame another human, she would have to reduce them to being an animal, and not too long afterwards the magician disappeared without any warning. Six months later, he reappeared one morning in front of the convoy with which they traveled. He was naked, with many different wounds and marks of nature all over his body, trembling and completely and socially dysfunctional. His behavior was described as that of an animal, only communicating in grunting sounds, being unable to fend for himself normally, eating and drinking like a dog. Nobody knew what happened to him. Nobody... except for Svetlana. She saw his return and felt great satisfaction, even excitement towards it. "Maybe... I played my hand. I did it..." she told herself repeatedly and unrepentant, and avoided contact with him until the day he was taken to an institution. As the months passed, her mother overcame the tragedy and took the place of the magician, achieving greater success than her now dysfunctional husband.

When she reached the age of 18, Svetlana convinced her mother to send her to college using the savings they had. It had not been immediate, but her persuasive techniques helped. She had to get through some technical problems with enrolment, but eventually managed to overcome them and finally started her studies in medicine, specializing in psychiatry.

During her years in college, she used her intelligence and achievements to obtain different scholarships, which she used to help pay for her studies. She became friends with a young genius student of genetics Elena, with whom she shared an apartment. However, for the unlucky Elena, her submissive personality was completely defenseless to Svetlana's dominance, and was quickly turned into her servant as their domestic situation developed over time. Unlike the magician though, with Elena, Svetlana took a lot more care because she wanted to keep her personality intact and functional.

During her studies, she attended many psychology classes as a keen listener, something that garnered several comments between the lecturers about her being more skilled than the other students. It was in one of those classes where she met James, a big, burly male with long hair, and a coarse face that barely anyone would consider sexy. This young man had been enraptured with Svetlana's porcelain face, and often attempted to approach her, although he was constantly ignored by her. He believed it was because of his appearance, but the reality was that Svetlana had her mind occupied with her studies, and her sessions with Elena. One day unfortunately for James, this all changed when Svetlana gained an interest in him.

Her classmates from her psychology classes had decided to meet up at a bar, and invited Svetlana. They didn't expect that she would agree, because they were used to her always refusing their offers, but to their surprise she agreed. Elena was visiting her family that weekend, so she could have some fun without her, and saw an opportunity to study the youths in the party under the influence of alcohol. James also attended, hoping to chat with Svetlana.

Everyone had fun that night, and Svetlana surprised many of them with her charisma. Most people had thought that she was a typical bookish girl. Even James had a nice conversation with her, during which he saw her suddenly take out a notepad containing many notes and entries in a language he couldn't understand. He questioned her about it, and she revealed proudly that it was a code that she learned in the circus she grew up in. This made her more attractive in the eyes of James, and he focused most of their conversation on her past, and her living with animals in particular. The night went very well, but an unexpected incident interrupted their conversation.

Several motorcycles could be heard loudly arriving at the bar, and a gang of men holding guns entered the bar, locking the door behind them. They threatened the staff and some of the customers, ordering everyone to turn off their cell phones and hand over all belongings, in addition to the bar's takings for the night. They were running the show, and all present were theirs.

Svetlana suddenly felt the presence of something at her back, where James was. Disturbed by the different, yet familiar presence, she turned to face it. Before she could however, a motorcyclist who was attracted to Svetlana, reached out to grab her. She threatened him, saying he would regret if he dared touch her. Just as the rider was about to take her by the arm, out of nowhere, a huge claw grabbed his arm instead. Surprisingly, a huge werewolf was angrily looking at him before throwing him into a group of his friends that were equally surprised to see it. It roared at them as they raised their guns. Svetlana had heard rumors of a creature by the name of Vârcolac, but they had been dismissed as merely a person dressed as a wolf attacking criminals. She moved forward a few inches and discovered that it was not just a costume. It was a real beast-man - the mythical werewolf Vârcolac. His presence excited her, and invaded her mind with thoughts of "I must have it."

Shortly after, Vârcolac had taken care of all the motorcyclists, leaving them unconscious and very hurt. Svetlana noticed something odd that James' drunken friends would not notice by the end of the night - the fact that there was no sign of James anywhere. His friends didn't think anything of it, but the very sober, and very insightful Svetlana thought otherwise.

The following day, Svetlana contacted James, with the intention of taking him to a private place. Meeting him at the virtually abandoned college, she approached him and placed a silver coin in his hand. His skin reacted negatively to it, just like silver would harm werewolves in movies, confirming her suspicions. James admitted he had been very careless around her, and it was no surprise to him that she would discover his identity. She was surprised to see that James was ashamed of himself, but she had an admiration for his bestial side, and urged him to transform, which he did so. The girl of his dreams - the girl he was in love with, was in front of him and accepting his other side. When he was transformed, she had no qualms about kissing him. It was her way of trapping James in her own claws.

Svetlana slowly gathered the equipment she needed to contain him. It wasn't too hard, since he himself practically told her what she needed. Her methods of subtle suggestion to his mind were faster and more effective than she had expected. There was no doubt in her mind that emotional ties helped when mastering another person, and seeing that her work was getting results quickly, Svetlana intensified the treatment to James for a prolonged period.

One year later, James Vârcolac disappeared, and was never seen again in Romania. Svetlana now knew that beings like werewolves were real, but also that many more varieties existed than she had originally thought.  Her mind was made up, and her thoughts were now: "I want more of them."

By the time she had finished college, Elena had become her conditioned servant, while James was now her personal pet, and a couple of rich and unfortunate men had been turned into investors for the new circus that would begin soon.

With the help of James, Svetlana managed to capture several beast people. With them, she had her main attractions for her new private circus. She was ready, and began to receive large amount of money from her investors. Her main concern of being surrounded by dangerous creatures , she knew that her methods had them under her control, and she had a vast confidence in that fact. However, if anything was revealed or exposed at an inappropriate time, she would need something to protect herself from the perpetrators, or even better - something to make them submit.

It was then that she met a snake-girl. The girl’s claws and fangs were loaded with a powerful poison that had taken the lives of many of Svetlana's pets who were in charge of catching her. She was eventually captured, but unlike the other pets, she was not given the standard treatment. Instead, she was subjected to painful research with a more sinister intention. Elena, who was now a private forensic investigator with a wealth of knowledge in genetics, was brought in to help reveal the secrets of the snake girl's abilities, and all this for the purpose of reproducing the abilities of the claws for Svetlana herself.

It was a delicate and dangerous procedure, and the snake girl did not survive. Svetlana, on the contrary, had gotten what she wanted and a little more. A side effect of the procedure was an increase in her senses and animal instinct. She decided to put her new abilities to the test against one of her pets. Her strength still wasn't great, but her agility and dexterity proved to be fatal. The stun toxin worked almost immediately, with her being able to inject the proper dose and prevent hurting her opponent. Unfortunately for them however, their body began to numb, which left them completely susceptible to her next attack.

With her new abilities, the final piece fell into place. Svetlana now hides behind her porcelain doll-like face and kind personality, while hiding the depraved, sadistic, and dominant beast that resides within.
