Yes, Dogmeat is awesome he's even learned to let me through doorways sometimes ^-^; his likeness, and Australian cattle dog or blue heeler breed, was derived from Max Rockatansky's dog "Dog" from the Australian film Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior. The More You Know!
