Mini speech / appreciation post warning: 😅
This is really different content than I would normally post, but I have been feeling the need to challenge myself to speak up about things that I have been thinking about recently. I keep a lot of things to myself, so I thought it would be a good idea to step out of my little bubble and say some things today..
2020 has been a very challenging year but has also been a huge opportunity for me to reflect on many things. I have spent so much time alone that really everything that has happened in my life so far has all caught up to me in meditation and self reflection. This includes some very hard truths, regrets, and painful memories. All of the details that I don't think I would have been able to process if it weren't for the pandemic, for isolation, and for the opportunity to slow down and go inwards.
I consider myself very lucky to be here. I have been able to go through all of this in the best possible way.. with so much support from my loved ones. I have a hard time reaching out to others for support. I have learned that nobody can really do much on thier own. We must all support each other and lift each other with love and kindness to make it through difficult times. We can accomplish so much when we work as a team. 🙂
Thank you to all of those who have joined me on this journey and have supported me! I hope to be able to rise from 2020 much stronger and more able to use my unique voice to help others in any way that I can, even if I don't know exactly what that looks like yet. Also to not be afraid to trust others to hold me accountable. To continue to challenge myself and others to learn and grow and become our best selves. To hopefully make our world better while we are here, because we all have the power to do so.. 🙏❤
