Second Experiment with HDR
------------------------------------------
Story:
I was walking to work on a normal day when I just happened upon a small block that was completely foreign to me. Suffice to say, It was beautiful. The shot taken was done in HDR to properly expose all parts of the picture and the vintage film effect emphasizes the time period that these buildings were made. I love old buildings.

From now on, I'll be taking different routes to work everyday (:

Something about this shot just really caught my eye and drew me in. There's so much to look at, so much to explore. It's really reminded me that all I need to do is keep my eyes and mind open. Perhaps I will start taking new ways to work every morning :)
Thank you for the pick-me-up and the beautiful piece.

What is HDR?

High Dynamic Range photos (HDR) takes the highlights of one picture and the shadows of another and merges it with a neutral picture to increase the dynamic range of the picture. (to have more details) usually a camera blurs out the foreground/background of the picture but HDR gets around that problem. Most people, however use it for the gnarly effect it produces in an image....a sort of surreal quality to the shot (imagine the intro of a scene in a very high quality Video game)

I tell you you really have an eye for photo. The way you frame and light your pictures are really good. but every now and then you take one like this that is shear perfection...

Amazing shot. Reminds me very much of the "colonies" on the outskirts of Madrid, and I expect, many other large cities across the world.

there are always small parts of your town that you'd be surprised to discover! There was this one time when I was walking in a very urban area, and I suddenly walked into a square that had a very quaint family-run coffee shop and these old people were socializing around the square. It was like a whole different place. People were laid back, calm and very kind there unlike the bustling metropolis of the city lol. So yeah, that is one of the best experiences that I've had.

I see so many HDR's that look that they've just got a bad filter put on them using Photoshop, and don't look real, but this is excellent!! It really has brought the detail out, congrats!!
