Please Seek Shelter by lacan Please Seek Shelter by lacan
This is a photograph I thought I'd take of the sky in Colorado when there were numerous tornado warnings. The clouds looked very interesting and I think the truck almost looks ominous too. The headlights contrast the sky in this real spooky way I think.

I think your picture is the best depicting those sweets clouds. You've been lucky to catch that much!

Wonderful!

Awesome shot, really nice colors, looks almost as if you can touch it! The truck really adds to the atmphere as well! Cool!

GORGEOUS mammatus. Although when those happen that pretty much means your need to seek shelter has expired (they are the underside of the cumulonimbus anvil and mean it's dying). But fantastic... you rarely see this many, this large, and at sunset.

Have to favourite this.

I like the angle, it really accents her breasts. And that expression on her face is just priceless.

Er, I mean.

Sorry, wrong photo.

I used to live in Lamar Colorado and there was more than once when the clouds looked like this. Very well captured. The lighting is perfect. There is just enough on the ground to give you detail and yet it is such a shade that it brings with it that 'spooky' feeling. The truck adds to it, it's headlights seming like eyes out of the shadows as it follows the clouds.

Nicely done.

It was taken in Monument, Colorado. About 20 minutes north of Colorado Springs.
