My Tree is...dead. :(
Six years ago, I got my first taste of infrared. I bought a filter on ebay and attached it to my little Canon Powershot S2 IS and went out taking shots all over town. My last stop that day was at a park with a duck pond. That began my love affair with this tree. Back in the Saddle - sort of
Well, after having all my camera gear stolen, I was reduced to needing something to take pictures with. So, last night I went and bought a Sony NEX 5N. It's not a DSLR, but it's got a DSLR sensor in it (APS-C) and it shoots in RAW and has full manual controls (and HD video). :dance:
Definitely not even close to what I am used to using, but ya gotta do with what ya got, right!? :w00t:On a positive note, it's small and light, which means I can keep it with me. :paranoid:Since it's winter and I am too busy right now to do any traveling, I had to resort to some backyard shooting, so here is my first offering with the new camera:
