After moving to an old house on the outskirts of the city, I was faced with the problem of high heating costs during the winter months. I was looking for solutions that would help keep warm without significant investments. While searching I found an article on the Windows thermal insulation website at which talked about secondary glazing as a way to improve the insulation of existing windows. Interestingly, this method made it possible not only to enhance thermal insulation, but also to preserve the appearance of antique frames, which was important for preserving the historical appearance of the house. The solution turned out to be surprisingly effective, reducing heat loss and improving living comfort.
