So my first overall impression is that this is a little bland. The colors are unsaturated and the lighting seems even all around. The perspective of the buildings is decent, but it doeesn't have a wow factor or dramatic composition. That being said,

the post is ok. It does need adjustments to the perspective of the legs and face (since the viewer is looking up to the character).

To improve this or future drawings first try to get an interesting solid base. So do a few thumbnails of different placement and composition to find one that's dynamic and interesting. You don't want your art to be cookie cutter right? Your style of simple and simple shading is nice. Adding appropiate shading to add to the fact that it's night is needed. in the current scene you can't really tell what time of day it is since it's so light. Add stronger shades and darker hues. Also since the moon is full don't be afraid to add in moonlight to the character and rim lighting where the light is strongest. With a few of those changes you can make your art unique and improve in no time!

I think overall this is a well done peice. Attention to putting certain elements out of focus while other things remined crisp was appreciated and needed. Felt that the detail on the origami piece (the design and pattern) was too busy compared to the background, which had some different colors and shapes happening. I think using a pattern that could have complemented the background better would have make this artwork stand out more, and impacted the viewer.
Overall, it's still a nice peice to look at. I wonder what it would look like with diffeent color filters? And perhaps playing with the composition could add a nice touch. <3

I think the strongest part would be the emotion of the gentleman. You can see the anquish in his face and and motion of the snake. I commend you for adding those details to this peice even if it's not the best looking art in the world.

What could be worked on - well, the anatomy of the face. The face seems flattened in the front and not enough round in the back. The shading of the entire peice could use work. You have found where you want the shadows to fall, now to make them more bold, shape more definition to the peice. I'd also add more rich color to the snake, a lot of the image seems blurred and blended but there aren't any sharp edges which could elevate this to the next level
