Tsubaki Kusarigama Complete

They're finally done!

After so many hours of work first with fabrication, then with painting, Tsubaki's kusarigama form prop is finally complete. The chain pictured here is my six foot metal chain, but a plastic chain of the same length is in the works.

Now I have to thank my aunt for her help with the fabrication. Without her shop, her materials, her knowledge and her hands, this project would have died at conception.

Same for my mother and her knowledge and materials that helped the paint job turn out very nicely.

For all those who have been waiting to see the final result, here's your reward.

Special shout out to :iconrisea: for being as excited as I am to see the end of this project. Hopefully this will be a good point to improve your rotten month.

How much would you charge to make one for me then send it to Canada? i really need one for my cosplay

The charge would mostly vary based on shipping, which may or may not be decent. I live in Canada myself, so it depends on whereabouts in Canada you are.

And it would be just one, or one pair?

Ah, well considering I'm a southern Quebec guy I doubt the shipping you be too troublesome. It's a little early in the morn for me to summon up a price, but the due date for this would be important to know as well.

Plus if it happens to be at or after an event that we both attend, that can simplify the exchange of prop and money.

Can you make a like how to make a kusarigama

It could be cool to make a step by step tutorial of making the kusarigama. Unfortunately, being as I'm busy with orders and life, I likely couldn't find the time to do it unless I did get a kusarigama order.

Stunning attention-to-detail, I wouldn't have the patience to build something like that. You have two seriously awesome family members as well. Seriously, it looks like it came straight out of the anime! Really, really well done!

Thanks for the complimenting. It's pretty much one of my first props, and looking back I did a decent job on them.

Maybe I'll make one if I find the time between all my commissions.
