Chapter 1 Vladimir Maximoff was in his prison cell sitting on his bunk reading War and Peace. It had been three months since he was arrested for the crimes he had committed. He was placed in solitary confinement so that he couldn’t act in conspiracy with any other prison inmates to cause any more trouble. Two prison guards approached his cell. It was standard that at least two guards approach any prisoner during any escort duty. They were armed with nightsticks in case the prisoner they were escorting attempted some kind of escape. “Prisoner AAK1967, rise to your feet and face the back wall so that we can restrain you,” one of the guards instructed. Vladimir continued reading his book, almost as if he didn’t hear the guard’s command. “I’m only going to repeat this one more time,” the same guard warned. “Rise to your feet and face the back wall so that we can restrain you.” Vladimir put his book down and stood up. He faced the back wall. The guards opened the cell and entered.

Chapter 1 The Alexis Armada Starship known at the Capricorn was on an assigned mission to investigate an unknown anomaly in the Venetian Nebula. The Venetian Nebula had some thick, blue patches of gas within, although the gases did not hinder the Capricorn’s ability to navigate through. The Capricorn continued onward as if such gases were not present. Eventually, the Capricorn approached the source of the anomaly the crew was ordered to investigate. Viroids are extremely dangerous robots programmed with one collective goal: The extinction of the human race throughout the universe. Although their exact origin is unknown, it is believed that they were infected with a virus of evil purposes to reprioritize their original purposes. Viroids fall into two categories: Minion and Primary. Minion Viroids come in the form of metallic, humanoid skeletons. Each Minion Viroid is armed with a laser-based weapon, whether such weapons are melee or ranged. Although they are weak compared to Primary Viroids, extreme caution should still be taken whenever encountered. Minion Viroids are directly under the control of Primary Viroids and obey them without question. Primary Viroids each have their unique fighting style. Although they are far fewer in numbers compared to Minion Viroids, they are far more dangerous and extremely hard to defeat. Some are capable of utilizing elements of nature in combat. Blake Webster’s opponent, Laman Humphrey, still had his Machamp out.
