I can't trust my monitor's colours. When I upload stuff from my mom's laptop (which has a reflective screen) the colours are basically gone... it's just all dull and lifeless. Eep!
anyway, since my tablet permits a higher level of pressure sensitivity and hence painting style, I tried to go for a painting style RoyXEd, and that's where I've gone for the last few weeks, working on this. Looking at the thumbnail reveals SO many proportion problems and so on, but I don't really want to touch it any more or I might go crazy.
it was quite difficult and I thought of giving up two or three times at the early stage due to the proportions (they're still off) but I'm happy I persisted.
and that stylised onion- apple! it's an apnion. Seriously. I can't even draw apples, what a shameful thing.
P.S. Roy looks like a real pedo. I wanted to make him lick Ed's arm but I didn't want to risk ruining his lips if I couldn't draw it. mainly, laziness. and maybe too risque? (who, me?)

Oh, this was inspired by one of the covers of Idea's RoyEd doujins. If you're a fan, you probably get where it comes from. But I totally failed with the dramatic lighting, as always.

This ... is awesome. It has a really nice atmosphere about it, and those neutral (if not sly) expressions just make the artwork. (And their lips, omg.)
