This beautiful painting resonates with me, but probably not as you might have intended. It is an interesting coincidence, I'm sitting looking at a young apple orchard stripped of fruit and leaves and probably mostly killed by a herd of deer on my farm.
Yikes! I know that they can sometimes be destructive. I'm sorry to hear about that. We haven't planted our orchard yet (probably next year), but we do have a lot of deer that come through our acres. I hope you're able to find a safe deterrent for next year's crops!
Beautiful work - I really like how you have done the branches and textures here, and the colors work really well together! The deer stands out well, and the red apples are a very nice and original addition too
