You're really good at grand scale. You're right that it's hard to darken a scene when the sun's still up, but your use of heavy clouds and mist mute it quite nicely. I love that most everything that would brightly reflect the sun's light is facing away from the viewer, so most of the landscape we see is in shadow, even the ground the focal character is standing on. I love small detail, like the lit windows on the ominous and imposing castle, the dead bush on the right, and the birds in the distance against the sun. I love how much of this is vertical, from the cliff on the left, to the tallness of the castle, even how steep the smaller peak is on the right, a landform you'd rarely see on Earth. Plus, I love the story this tells of the adventurer finally reaching his destination where he'll probably be confronting enemies to get what he wants, and bravely facing it even though the sunset makes it more menacing. Well done. Thanks for sharing.
