You find yourself walking through a graveyard in the dead of night. Everything is dead quiet besides the sounds you make as you make your way through accidentally stepping on dry leaves and twigs. Normally you wouldn't have taken this route, because seriously walking through a graveyard on Halloween how cliche could one get? but you promised your friend that you would make it to their house for a Halloween movie marathon and you were running late.
You feel the temperature drop a couple of degrees and stick your hands in your pockets, uneasiness spread in your body. As you continue on you hear the sound of heavy footfalls and you stop curious to see if you maybe misheard something. As soon as you stop the footsteps behind you stop as well, so you probably just imagined it. You continue on, your pace quickening to a light jog, the footsteps you heard before increasing as well. Okay now you're sure someone is following you. Your heart beats faster as you begin to run and turn your head back. Perhaps you should have looked where you were going because your leg gets caught at a tree root and you fall flat on your face. You wince as the sudden pain shot through your leg and as soon as you open your eyes you see no one there.
You sit on the ground slightly dazed when someone taps your shoulder. You let out a yelp as you turn face to face with a giant eye! No wait it actually is a girl with a giant witches hat with an eye pattern on it. You breathing becomes shallow as you take a minute to calm your heart. The girl looks at you with a grin, "Scared you didn't I?" she giggles. She looks at you with curious eyes, you both have a staring contest for a couple of seconds. The girl lets out a sigh, "Sorry for scaring you like that" she finally says, "Let me make it up to you". She hands you a piece of paper, "Fill out the form, and I will make it come true" She says.
