I like how the city you've drawn casts a glowing haze just below the garden level, making it seem either quite humid or blanketed in oppressive smog.  The subtle reflections on the rooftop garden pond also fit into this transition space between the two worlds, one modern, rigid and glowing, and the other a more timeless, flowing space.

I feel like I want to walk there and talk to that monk.  The whole scene seems quite real, like we could all be here within our lifetimes.

This is a really fascinating picture.  This makes me think of Star Wars.  Actually, it gives me an idea for a Star Wars story, at some point.

I love the atmosphere.  The contrast you've created between futuristic technology and the more natural elements paired with the monk is absolutely stunning.  There's an almost haunting quality to this piece.
