Pulled out my Hoya R72 IR filter the other day.  I was so psyched about buying it and then didn't get around to using it for a while.  I'm amazed at the world IR photography opens up.  The difference between an image straight out of the camera and the final post processed product can be so extreme.  I've found scenes that would otherwise be very plain can become magical places with the right amount of RGB channel tuning.  I'm hoping to get a variety of some other shots soon and post any keepers :plotting:

This is my first journal entry and I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for the :+fav: 's and comments on my first DD for the Giant Ferris Wheel shot.My apologies if I didn't respond to your comments or acknowledge the :+fav: .  I think my page hits quadrupled overnight, and I am really quite grateful !I really enjoy this site, and hope I can become more active in the near future.  I had been tied up at work and just moved out to this area, the latter of which is still taking up a lot of my free time.  Photography and trying to put together something unique is such a nice escape from reality.  I hope I can find more time to do this very...
