I have a sale going on that will get you 75% off 3D models. The original price of 2200 points has now become 550. Ends June 30 or when three are purchased.
By the way, if you haven’t heard yet, for every commission I get, I split 10% of my earnings with those who shared my commissions.
First of all, dA doesn’t support the actual apostrophe (this one: ’ ) in Journal titles:
Second of all, I’m done with cross-promoting my content.
My personal website is yet another thing: Kurlov.net
Yeah, I’m late on the Black Friday thing. But you know what, I’m going full discount here.
Instead of the clay sculpture commission costing 5550 points (which is a fairly reasonable price, as far as I’m concerned) it will cost 70 points, which is 98,74% cheaper (I don’t like the 99% cliché). This offer will last until the end of the year or until 3 commissions are ordered.
Update from December 12: Apparently clay costs a lot of money (more than 70 cents). The clay commission offer price is now costs 300 points, which for the record is still a good deal: 95% off! Customers that have already ordered will not have
There’s this scam going around on dA which helps sell cakes n’stuff at lower prices. I fell for it. There is no way you’re going to get something faster/cheaper than the official minimums.
These accounts got 60 points from me, with nothing happening. There is a point refund project going on right now, but that could also be a scam, you know how that works. Share this around, so you won’t lose your points (and money!)
Update from October 12: GiveThemCake has been deactivated. Shoutout to Voiii (https://www.deviantart.com/voiii) for giving back 40 points! There is another similar account, DressMyLlama (https://www.deviantart.com/dressmyllama), that I gave 20 points to.
Update from October 18
After closing Conceptuals, leaving MilkshakeSoup (https://www.deviantart.com/milkshakesoup) & WeirdAl-FanClub (https://www.deviantart.com/weirdal-fanclub), I thought and reflected a while about this group thing.
Today, I have started working on NewsyArt. It's still a work in progress, don't bother joining it yet. It doesn't have a logo or anything, that's being developed. I see Beme News & WikiTribune as the news sources of the future. I find visual art as a good way to relax and see news through a different lens. If you have any suggestions or ideas, hit me up.
I love DeviantArt. DeviantArt is great. The community is great. Groups are not.
WeirdAl-FanClub (https://www.deviantart.com/weirdal-fanclub)'s founder account was blocked, which meant there wasn't a heritage founder. This left the group with one crazy (very crazy!) co-founder who didn't care. That's when I joined the group and made it great again. Except... I didn't. I couldn't become founder, which I needed to become to change the logo, add more members, bla bla bla... I checked on the group later on, to discover that the crazy co-founder (who shall remain nameless) has changed account.
Why doesn't DeviantArt fix this? As no active account is founder or co-founder except me,
"Marty, the future!"
Back To The Future II was a great movie, one of the best from the 80s. A classic. The movie was an inspiration for many technologies we have today. The best way to predict the future is to invent it. However, 3D printing and modeling wasn't a thing we thought of back then, today these technologies are taking over the world.
I started learning Fusion 360, software for 3D modeling. I fell in love with it! It is indeed possible to create anything you can think of. Better yet, actually printing it with a 3D printer. One of the first things I made was a signature pawn. I play chess, and making my own chess set is a g
This is my new engraving. It's called Olen. I studied the art of engraving, and I think I mastered it.
My first engraving was called Slony. I kinda failed. Hard strokes, bad idea of what an engraving should be.
Enjoy my newest video about the behind the scenes of making it.
