These little guys were digging their tunnels in Kham, East Tibet.
I don´t know how they're called, definitely some kind of rodent ;)
We named them "Wusels"

Indeed it's a pika, which are actually closer in relation to rabbits and hares than rodents! :)

Hello Kunsang.

I just saw a nature documentary with a segment taken in Tibet. It featured a few clips of your gopherish creature. They are called Pikas (though I am not sure how to spell it)! 'Tis pronounced Pike-ah.

They're great!

I would say they are definatley gopher-ish.

We have something similar in Wyoming that we call ';Picket Pens'. Not sure what their real name is either ;)
