Is there a full res version available somewhere for personal desktop wallpaper use?

Full - nah, FUllHD is all I usually give out for a short time - original size is more like 10k x 5k px

I really love the structures and the colors in this picture. Atmosphere is also well done even though I think its a bit too dark in some parts. And that sun in the background should be way brighter.

That's no mo... sun? I think it is a moon or a planet like Mars.

but why is it glowing then?

There should be a sun or similar to the far right somewhere (not in the picture), which illuminates the structures and probably this "thing" in the back too. Like our moon. But it's just my guess :)

Yes I thought of that as well but to me it looks more like this planet is a light source itself. Because if it would be illuminated by a sun then the other planet next to it would be illuminated as well. But anyway its art and it doesnt have to be realistic, it just has to look good :)

could be a brown dwarf - a tiny star that's not very luminous because it uses a different fusion process from regular suns. Knowing Kuldar's other work, I'd assume this is not a typical sun shown in this picture.

I'm sorry it's been an uninspirational year. Perhaps surrounding yourself with some things you find aesthetically pleasing would help? Seeing very cinematic films, dwelling in nature, watching documentaries or shows about the Universe (I've seen some very beautiful ones on Netflix), or even discovering very talented artists on art sites dominated by concept artists? I see things are a bit dry through this piece though, compared to your older works. I'm the type that needs to look back at my old work and see things I'd like to improve on for me to really want to jump up and get things done. I hope any of these suggestions help... or at least give you something to build on. Best of luck in finding a muse. Your talent is exceptional.
