The movie Avengers: infinity war came out and as almost any other superhero movie it performed well and was well received; except of course in some social justice circles, where nothing is never enough.
I myself find this kind of movie little else than 2 hours entertainment that i quickly forget about, but i do it based on narrative (lack of) quality, and not in bullshit irrelevant stuff like “it has too few lesbians”, which has been the complain of some people on twitter and some media, apparently encouraged by this hyperbolic tweet. Because apparently an action movie that has to fit several dozens (dozens, not hundreds) superheroes in the smallest space possible (and still got beyond the 2 hours lenght), should waste some of the time that fans want dedicated to super fights instead into showing queer characters been queer for no aparent or relevant reason. Even when i don’t like a dumb fight scene been injected with no other purpose than to see explosions (hello “drop the shields”, i’m talking to you), it’s still better than injecting a dumb queer scene for no other purpose than to appease a small group of perpetually offended.
On the other hand, i cannot help but to also mock the insane quantity of people who seem to be absolutelly blind to the most obvious stuff regarding the movie. We are going now into spoilers territory, although i honestly laugh at the idea that you can be spoiled of something in this kind of movie that you cannot just guess, but apparently for a lot of people it seems to be the case, because the internet is full of people surprised that Thanos wasn’t defeated in the FIRST of TWO movies. Like, really, what the fuck were you expecting? It’s the first of two parts; you though they were gonna beat him and the second one would be a 2 hours debate about the validity of his views?
Of course they fucking lose in the first movie. They have to set a climate of dread, of defeat, and then in the second part they bring back all of the dissapeared heroes and win. Oh but sorry, aparently a huge amount of people seem to think those heroes have really died. Sure. The heroes who have only recently appeared and have only one, or two movies are all gonna die before doing their 2nd-3rd movie, and the ones who have 3+ movies are the ones who survive. I’m sure Marvel has not set it this way so in the next one the old heroes will die getting the new ones back to life and pass the torch to the new generation. Yeah i’m sure that’s not the case. Spoiler!
im just hoping for the day these sjw cunts implode or get the crap beaten out of them.
I can't believe SJWs are seriously attacking Infinity War...WTF makes them think there's going to be representation in a movie that's suppose to be about action and shit??
Also, yup, pretty predictable sequel. Wait till next year for the finale.....wonder how long the MCU's gonna last if they're gonna try a "legacy" thing
This also goes for unnecessary romance scenes, unnecessary school scenes, as well as scenes with unnecessarily long discussions about family intrigues in the royal court which have absolutely no bearing on the story whatsoever.
(For more information, see: "Chekhov's Gun")
Well, they like sexy autism how it is depicted in television, but not real autism.
Or the nonverbal/mostly nonverbal child someone needs to connect with.
But they would not want to see the less pleasant forms of autism.
I once read a discussion if the Earl of Lemongrab from Adventure Time is autistic and lot of people got really angry. They did not make arguments why Lemongrab is not autistic, they just got angry for suggesting he might be autistic.
We get it, they're not perma-dead. However, that does not excuse anyone from trying to ruin the emotions brought on by Infinity War. Let people enjoy it.
Same goes to those fuckheads crying about gay characters. Seriously, fuck off with that already, it's 2018 move on!
But you know what? I have not really seen much if any of these "Social Justice Warriors complaining about lack of diversity" stuff that some are complaining about, despite me searching through and watching as many videos or reading as many articles as I could about this movie. Unanimously most people seemed to have enjoyed the movie.
What I have found, however, are a few people (like this post) who claim that "SJWs are complaining about the movie." But I feel like, one would have to be intentionally looking to find such stuff. It reminds me of one video I watched about another recent movie, where someone made a video claiming that "SJWs were against this movie!" but he got his information based on one article he read.
I find it ironic that some people say that "SJWs" complain too much, yet those same people love to search and find SJWs complaining about stuff just so that they can complain about them.
Anyhow, as to the second point, as someone who follows a lot of movie talk and such and Internet stuff, it's easy to know that Infinity War was going to be continued. I knew from advance that the movie was originally going to be titled "Avengers: Infinity War Part 1" as the working title before the dropped it. I knew that Spider-Man, Black Panther, Doctor Strange, and the Guardians of the Galaxy all had sequels confirmed. I know that Chris Evans has said that the next Avengers movie will be his last, so it's easy to predict that he'll die.
But there are also many people who don't follow all this information. Some people just go in and watch these movies, without knowing information about what movies Marvel has already announced for the next several years, or which actors are coming back or not coming back, etc. Heck, the successful Black Panther movie brought a lot of people into the Marvel movies who probably have never watched a Marvel movie before. My 62-year-old mother went to see Black Panther and she'd never watched a superhero movie in her life I think.
So there are those who probably went to see Infinity War because it follows Black Panther and Black Panther was known to be in it. People who aren't as movie savvy or comic book savvy as people who are deeply into this stuff. It's understandable to me that people would be surprised by the deaths and ending of this movie if they did not know that this was a "Part 1 of 2."
Simply put, I don't find it that shocking that not everybody knows all the behind the scenes information of these movies. I can see how some people would go into this movie not knowing that it's supposed to be a "two-parter."
Heck, there are some people who really thought Spider-Man and Black Panther - two of the more successful characters - would be gone for good. But I think that's great. The movie is a lot more tense if you really are surprised by these things.
Not without sacrificing all creative control to a bunch of losers that are honestly delusional at times.
they fixed the character "deaths" issue by some other character with the Infinity Gauntlet wishing:
"Let everything be as it was 24 hours ago".
Dunno how the next movie will be....but they may, or may not, do something similar.

I mean c'mon those this a*sholes can't go to a movie and enjoy it? These people are incredible, I can imagine them already on the movie theater: Instead of enjoying the movie, they are paying attention or try to find anything that may be an insult or a sin to the religion of SOCJUS.
So I'm not surprised they haven't come to that logic conclusion.
