I do have to admit that I'm having troubles thinking it's already 2019 :'D So my memories can be mixed, apologies. But honestly, my whole year's highlight have to be whole group. Being an admin in fuzzy raptors gives me some soft of feeling of purpose, a job I can do despite my disabilities and hoard of friends who share my interest. No matter how dark place I have, I can always count kukuris will be there and I am needed somehow. So they helped me throughout the year.
Second best memory is getting some lores to start and some to end. Most famously the FoD event which was stepping stone to finally end up Karhunkarva's and Aurinkokajo's two year friendship and make them lovers. At the same time their kukuris are growing and it will be a chance for new generations to take shelter to their farm. My first kukuri is taking care already from her grandchildren in there, and I can't wait to see what upcoming year has stored!
I'd have to say the highlight of my year was finally getting an emperor kukuri! It's always been a dream of mine to have, and now I have a couple pretty females in my loaf and I'm really glad to have them <3
Oh boy there were so many things. The thing that is a definite top 1 for me was the CoL event and especially its ending. The whole event was a blast, just like it was the year before though this time it had something more. Be that the shroom infection or all the awesome content the members created, it definitely was an event I'll remember for years to come. The event's ending and Death's demise was especially memorable and probably the first time I've gotten actually emotional over the Kukuri lore. Loved it.
I can't wait for the things 2019 will bring with it!! ♥♥ Also, much love and many hugs for our wonderful admins, you're doing awesome and I̧ wou̢ld d̴ie f͢oŕ ͜y̵ou.

My favorite memory is the animation of death dying, protecting the kukuri in the CoL event. It brought out some genuine emotions in me.
But other than that my favorite memory of 2018 is the group itself. Though I might not be very communicative or have any friends here, kukuri is the group that inspired me to pick up drawing again after struggling with it for nigh on 10 years.
I am very grateful for all of you that give life to this group. And to any players reading this, that includes you. I love you
So I know I haven't been extremely active or participated in a lot of events or breedings. So I may not be very interesting but I have to say that my best memory spans over the past couple of months. Unofficial rejoining the group was the best decision I made so far. I have spent so much time drawing because of this group, slowly building up my skills and confidence when it's comes to art. Regaining the love of drawing and storytelling I used to have with every piece I create. Adding a little narrative in the artwork I create and in fact, in the process of planning out a narrative that will span over a couple of activities.
When I rolled my first activity, I was overjoyed. I still get overwhelmed with excitement as I wait to find out what my babies have discovered today!! It's inspired me to try new art styles and experiment more with my style and gave me a purpose again. And this year I aim to attempt to communicate more within the group, not going silent like the year before.
I know I'm, rambling but my mind is all over the place.
Bye, bye. Thank you for reading and best of luck to everyone!!
I wasn't able to participate as much I would have liked due to some RL problems, but what I enjoyed the most about the last year was the Carnival of Life. The conclusion was stunning and I'm eagerly awaiting to see what happens next with the lore. Not a lot of ARPGs work such events like that into the lore as well and I adore stories with good lore in them. Looking forward to participating more this year.
I have a few, but I'll just cut it down to two ^^.
The first: So, normally I don't like having new members having to struggle to get there first kukuri (my mind makes feel horrible since I know how hard it is to get genos when your just starting out ^^' that and keeping Geno's I knew I wasn't/didn't use) So I gave away two of my Kukuri's, one being and spider mutation, and one para horn pup. It kinda made me feel like I was giving a person there first mutation boi and normal pup. It just made me feel good knowing that they could draw them more then I could ^^.
The second: I managed to score myself three more Prairie Kukuri, one having a rare horn, and one having rare feathers. I was so happy I got them. If a remember correctly I gave the one with the rare horn away, but I'm not too sure. It still made me happy with the genos.
I'm not sure what the absolute best part was, but there was a lot that made me happy - - Getting my first kukuri Lana, and all the help @/Keimi9103 gave me with training her and knowing what to do - Collaborating with @/BlueTheCaracal on our picture of Adamant and Aiden's wrestling match [Collab] Ready to Brawl and none of my kukus got contaminated in the CoL mess, that jerk has no right to call herself Life - Writing prompts got the idea tap flowing, it was like being in English class at school but without having to write about current events or stuff like that - so much cuteness from best mom Fizzle to Nebula the sparkle nyan, there are so many lovely kukuris with adorable lore - and getting to write the lore for Neko 6543 (it's on its way), because cats are the best
I don't have a lot since I am a new member, but my best memory was obviously the day I got to own my very first Kukuri; Eremir, who is such a sweetheart and I am thrilled and oh, so lucky, to have been given him!
But I do hope that with this new year I will get more memories to pick from the next time this question is asked again!
Finding out about the tokens that admin can give out. This might sound very selfish, but I honestly had no idea that they even existed until I received one. I'm so used to art in ARPG's being simply a sort of grind, receiving a token for the first time ever completely shocked me. It made Kukus very very special to me, and I am incredibly grateful for it. It was a good reminder not to get lost in the grind but to put in my heart <3 Thank you Kukuri!
The amazing collabs that I did during CoL also meant a ton.
Entering the group was a little of a nightmare in the start, I still haven't understood a lot of things but having my first kuku and meeting cool members was very interesting! I never imagined I could even try drawing an animal too, so that's prob my best memory of my time on kukuri
My favorite memory of 2018 would have to be the Festival of Death! This event was the first time I really got close to my first Prairie Beelzebub and is the event that got me back into Kukuri again for many reasons. I love Kukuri and when the Prairies came out their originally aggressive firey nature sucked me right back in and even helped me to love digital drawing again! (It's really helped me get through the ruts of the 2018 year and I don't know where I would be without this group ^^)
Even though I didn't have as much time as previous years to enter events, I still really enjoyed the opportunities to collaborate and participate!
But I've got to say my favourite part of last year was the new friends I made and the continued interactions with the awesome people I've met through this ARPG in previous years! I really enjoy being part of the discord and chatting to people, and there's been some new lore that I'm very excited about that I've been working on with others!
I’ve really enjoyed the events (especccially Carnival of Life 2018) and getting to design these gorgeous muppets! My experience with your lovely admins has made everything even better ^w^ There’s just so much love and work out into this group and it really shows! ~Fluffkin
wow uh thats hard to answear D: kukus is always a joyfull experience ;; but i surely can tell that the one breedo that throw me 3 Ink bebs was an amazing moment ! like WOW also i full filled a few goals for myself such as a badass spider kuku or a double floof and my sphinx boi ( whos now almost a year old <3 ) i also really enjoyed to share kuku art with my friends and talk wit them about kukus c: its just so nice that most of them are into these floff monsters as well haha x3
Honestly, probably CoL was my highlight this year. I was in an artfunk for a lot of the year and the excitement for CoL was what managed to drag me out of it and I actually created stuff I was happy with! Not even mentioning the collabs, where I got to work with some people I really admire, which mulitplied the fun collabs bring normally a lot! And the lore I wanted to create with the possibility of contamination even inspired me enough to attempt two seperate comic projects in the face of school, even though one was discarded because I decided to take another path with the story and one about the aftermath is still in works, I definetly plan to finish it!
So honestly, the group probably saved my butt this year artwise and with that kind of mental-state-wise too, I'm not entirely sure I would be back up like this if it weren't for it :'D
There is a bunch of stuff but I'll just take the first one that came to mind!
It was getting my baby blue boi Lance 4221 I had started slowly but surely working on a breeding plan to get a iris Amber boi who could have blue eyes and was unrelated to the first I had managed to get. (honestly I thought it would to take a lot more time) when I happened to stumble upon him FS and I couldn't resist to at least try to offer and they actually choose my offer, I was so happy!
I had a basic idea of what his Lore should be before I even started the Breeding plan but it's just evolved even more after getting him and at this point I think he might be the Kukuri of mine with the most Lore build up from puphood to adulthood(or a close tie with Hellig & her handler Tsuki)
Easily the best things were meeting up with kuku peeps in a large group for the first times this year. I have traveled previously a little bit to meet some peeps individually but this year we got proper gatherings up and it was awesome to hang out with all of them irl ;v;
Also all the group lore moving forward has been amazing. Uni killing off Death, 5/5
I really enjoyed keeping Lore based Anniversary celebration Raffle for the community. It wasn't huge or amazing but all the small things and giving things to community just fun of it. Even though i did hassle little bit while raffling things out it was fun experience.
It have become pretty heart warming memory for some unknown reason. :> <3 Maybe because that lore pair is big part of my kukuri hobby.
I really loved the festival of death. The story and twist were great. It was great to make up some story for my Kuku during the event. I hope there are more fun events this year. Especially after the events of Carnival of life.
There were so many It's so hard to choose :'3 It's probably the Carnival of Death It was nice to see my girl having a winning streak and it was inspiring me a lot regarding her lore :3 And the end was just so unexpected and I am still kind of traumatized :' D
But all those lucky breeding rolls Especially Stru'enas you awesome bean ( you gave me such precious children )
And just All the fun moments with the community Like the times admins went crazy in the mainchat ( aka the orange flood ( was it orange... I have bad memory ) ) Or the many kind and supportive members of this community c: <33
I've joined really late in 2018, though I know I have a favorite memory already uwu I'd say that joining kukus was the best thing I could've done, I had no motivation to draw and forced myself because of irl stuff, but then I joined Kukuris, found amazing artists and very kind people who actually helped me get back into drawing without even knowing it! I got my iridescent baby girl in a raffle too!
Wow, you couldn't find a harder question? Naming one thing? That's like, naming your favorite string of hair. Or favorite freckle. I have so many good memories from Kukus, be it from all the good times in the discord chat, all the awesome events etc.
But fine. I'll pick an event that made me so happy I was shaking. Seriously. I was shaking!
And that's when I got my surprise prairie mini. I was just hoping for a nice prairie, maybe a common with piebald. It was a good pair so there were a lot of possibilities for a good pup. The breeding was rolled and I got this guy: Togo 6556
And that was the first time I scream as a reaction in pure happiness and I'm glad my brother didn't here me or he'd have died in LoL due to dropping it to come to my rescue.
That's one of my best memories purely due to the cheer happiness I felt that day.
I think I joined Kukuri earlier in 2018; it was the very beginnings of me branching off into new things, and expanding my artwork to continue learning and improving. Though I couldn't be as active as I'd hoped last year, seeing myself improve in my art because of this group has to be one of the best memories for me. I'm hoping to make time, and join in on the Kukuri fun for the most of 2019! ^-^
