Monthly quest is, as the name tells, a prompt that changes at the 1st day of each month. You CANNOT take part in the past monthly quests, but you can take part in the current month's quest as many times as you wish! Taking part in the quest earns extra FP for every Kuku in the picture, and you have a chance to roll for the special familiar, background or item of the month!
Do note that the monthly reward is given only for the person who posted/drew/wrote the picture/literature, and it is not rolled for each kukuri in the picture. In cases of collaborations, you are required to link the collab partner clearly to the description of submission, if they are the one posting the submission for roll. However, one submission can be rolled only for one person, so if you both wish to have loot rolled, you're required to complete two collabs.
Always link kukuris into description! Failing this might result for no FP getting rewarded.

CURRENT ONE
March 2024
The weather is finally warming up… time for a trip! But where too…
You overhear some less than reputable looking folks talking about a boneyard. Thats not a vacation destination…. But the tales they were telling about this place was enough to spark an interest… Ancient creatures’ remains and mystical powers. At least it sounds like it's warm there?
1. Bone hunting:
It can't be that hard to find a huge set of bones can it? Let alone a big field of them... well it can. You're unfortunate enough to discover this early on... and you have no clue where youre going. Time to do some good ‘ol investigating. Asking the locals, looking at records, etc.
Draw or write about your kukuri trying to locate this mysterious graveyard. Do the locals keep it a closely guarded secret, or is it a popular tourist destination? Does your kukuri need to dig through books?
2. Here lay… dragons?:
The rumors werent wrong, upon finding the boneyard, you find that it's filled with beasts of legend and size you could only imagine. What exactly were these creatures? Why did they die here specifically? So much to find out!
Draw or write about your kukuri investigating the skeletons. Do they find beasts from their worst nightmares, or creatures from their favorite stories? Maybe theyve met one of these beasts in the past?
3. Repurposing, not Grave Robbing:
For the more devious of us, the boneyard was like a pile of treasures… these creatures dont need those teeth anymore right? For profit or for some other reasons, taking something from this site might be more your speed… but dont get caught.
Draw or Write about your kukuri looting the site. Do they find old trinkets, or do they just take the bones themself? Maybe they plan to sell the items?
Each entry is eligible for +2FP bonus on each kukuri and has 30% chance to roll a new Graveyard of the Ancients background set!

LUCKY BOUNCE
If you do not receive the item on your 3rd entry, you will be automatically given one randomly rolled item! However, this effect works only once. Every kukuri drawn as full body participating or included in the literature to the monthly quest will earn +2 FP Monthly Quest bonus.
Automatic BGs / Items / Familiars
For each monthly there's a certain chance to roll rewards. It is rolled for all images. However if you don't get any rewards in the first two images, you'll automatically get the monthly reward for the third image! All images afterwards will only get the normal roll - so you get 1 reward guaranteed if you do 3 images.
Lucky bounce
Sometimes someone gets a little extra lucky and gets a second reward rolled (note: the automatic rewards after 3 images does not count!). In that case the last 2 members before the lucky one will get a second roll for their entry with a higher chance of +10%!
