How do you find out their eye color? Or do you make that up? Sorry, I'm new to the whole thing.

Eyecolors are inherited from one of the parents of the kukuri ´v`/ If there is no direct parents, then you can use eyecolors of grandparents.

You should have link to the breeding in the geno proof :3 In breeding you see which two kukuris made the geno you've got.

The female has silver eyes and the male has yellow eyes. In what way to I determine from that, the color of my kukuri's eyes? Also, I apologize for so many questions. I'm just a bit confused by this stage of the process.

It's okay to ask questions ´v`/ Please in the future please steer the questions to Questions and answers where admins can answer even faster!

Your pup can have silver or yellow eyes then, it's your call to decide which one suits your kuku better! You can colorpick from parents the eyecolor, but it is okay if the shade is slightly variating from parents :3

The shapes should pass, but currently your minimal white is too dark - I suggest colorpicking it from the guide and checking the chest area allowance, it seems to go over allowed amount currently!

Last word is of course always said in design central ovob

I recently had a rare egg I found hatched and I got this fella. I have just begun to design him and already I have a problem. I have never seen a Prairie Kukuri with fin horns before and am unsure how to tackle this. TO be honest, I haven't even tried to look for examples yet, but I would rather ask than try and take this on without guidance

Prairie Kukuri - Male - Healthy
aa/Ee/nSm/nBl/nDa
Smoked Hazel with Blanket and Dalmatian
Regular ears, Fin horns
Regular feathers

Yeah sorry. I tend to do that. The way that the ears and fin horns interact was what had me stuck. This clears up a whole lot

Here's his geno in case it helps~

If your geno has markings, it will be present in your genotype and look like this:

Aa/ee/nSm/nBl
Smoked Crimson with Blanket

Your geno has no markings at all though, but you can use the minimal white/black markings within the allowed ranges.

So, since my adopted kuku has no marking geno
Dose that mean he has no markings, just the base color in my design?

What does Nocturnal and Carnivore mean ?

:icontarynsgate:

It means your kuku is a carnivore (and it gets bonuses in hunting) and nocturnal refers to the background the import must be presented on.

Okay I am confused,

Aa/ee/Xx/nRi/nU

Ringed Ebon Crimson with Underbelly

is Ebon a gene or what? Cause If it isn't then what is it?

Reply
:iconjalohauki:

Ebon is one of the basecolors ´v`/ Ebon crimson is basically mix of common crimson coat and uncommon raven coat. The kukuri carries raven gene and pass it to offsprings!

Oh! okay? so does that mean that the Raven coat is semi visible or is it just a genetic thing

I saw a trait called "Twin Horns" on couple occasions but cannot find the said horn style from anywhere. I searched it trough the all currently existing imports and it looks like what's to be most closest to "Double Horn" trait (not mutation). Is this just that the horn trait was being confused with trait and mutation so it was changed? Because right now the guide and imports are confusing me a lot. xD

Yes, twin horns used to be called Double horns, but the name was changed due it becoming confused with double horn mutation ^^ So now they are called twin horns.

Guide images will be fixed in future, when we go with overhaul!

Is it more likely to get a mutated baby (such as mini) if you breed two kukus with that mutation?  Or does it not matter?
Reply
:icontarynsgate:
tarynsgate Featured By Owner Apr 5, 2017  Hobbyist General Artist
I'd say the odds are a bit higher than just the random mutation chance.

If I bred two kukus, who both have marbled markings, what is the percent chance of the marbled passing down?
Reply
:icontarynsgate:
tarynsgate Featured By Owner Feb 12, 2017  Hobbyist General Artist
I can't reveal exact percentages (I don't personally know them all anyway, I'm not the breeding roller XD), but I'd say whenever there are two parents with the same markings the chance is reasonably high, especially if the marking is common or uncommon. As it is breeding kukus where only one parent has a marking for common is 40% pass chance and uncommon is 20% pass chance so the odds with both parents in are def better ^^
