The Kuku pup was born without a limb (arms, legs or tail), or it had to be surgically removed. They can learn to live quite a normal life and can be equipped with a prosthetic, but it will never replace the strength of a real limb.
Amputating limbs
Maximum of 2 limbs can be amputated with mutation. Large scar pack can be used later to amputate more limbs.
If you are to amputate a leg, a prosthetic must be drawn, as kukus can't live a normal life without a leg. As such, amputating both legs in full is out of question. However, you may amputate half of both. You may edit the import accordingly.
You can amputate tail, hand, leg and horn.
You can not amputate jaw, neck or chunks of the body like a stomach or part of the head.
If amputating anything else than legs, prosthetic is free to be applied as long as it's applied at the same time as amputation.
Horns and ears can be amputated
If there is non infertile kukuri in question, this causes same minuses as hornless mutation. Ears don't need to leave a scar if using mutation to amputate them.

An amputated Kukuri; can't make a nest bigger than 2 eggs no matter the familiars, mutations, ranks or potions used in the breeding. Has -2 starting speed.
An acquired amputation (with large scarpack for example) does not give breeding penalties! Remember that you can only use acquired amputation once.
Modifying feathers:
- If you're clipping 50% or less from the primaries/secondaries length-wise (as in, you can't take away whole feathers), you may do this with Modification scroll. Note that this does account for the 50% total of lines modified if done this way.
Scarring feathers:
(Small scar) You may use small scars to clip feathers - however, due to their size, only few feathers can be damaged with one scar. A base of the primary/secondary feather should still be visible.
(Large scar) With large scar you can take off whole primaries/secondaries if you so desire, and it does not leave visible scars if you so desire.
- For aerials, you can take only primaries or secondaries of their wings with one large scar. To fully take them all away, you would need total 2 of large scars. Every chunk of wing feathers taken away from aerial in this manner adds -2 to their speed, to the total of -4
Getting rid of all feathers:
- Using large scars you can take away feathers and even coverts. HOWEVER, you can at maximum take away three points of feathers, the Kukuri should have one set of coverts (at least) visible in it's body. The four points of feather being head, arms/wings, legs, and tail.
Amputating a wing of an aerial:
- Wing amputation is allowed, but causes a -4 speed debuff on them.
