Last night, while I was working on things the LMB (left mouse button) on the touchpad is acting somewhat unusual and it's starting to annoy me. This morning, the problem still occurrs.
The problem is this: When I press the LMB on my touchpad and release it as quickly as possible, the laptop thinks that I'm still holding the LMB. I tried to release the input by pressing the LMB and it sometimes just wouldn't let me until it does so.
The RMB (Right mouse button) seems to be working like normal, but not the LMB. I was hoping to find the solution, but I had no luck whatsoever.
UPDATE: I had to restart my computer because the buttons are not responding. And when I got to the login screen, it gave me a BSOD (Blue Screen of Death). After two failed attempts, I booted into Linux anyway. And the same problem is still here! Now I'll never be able to finish the unfinished jobs.
The laptop I'm using: Acer Aspire E1-571
