To say that this year (and decade) began with some events is an understatement as of now, everyone, including yours truly, has been dealing with the insufferable pandemic since March (and perhaps earlier in some places), just when I was in a happy mood after watching Sonic and Onward in theaters and looking forward to a trip to Italy in September (which got delayed). And just when at the time I thought the worst that can happen is some damned war in the Persian Gulf with Iran, which I still contend that (besides being possible as of this writing) it can be lost more so than won IMO given Iran's unconventional strategies but that's another story for another time. Yet a war did happen, but ironically in some disputed territory between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and that Turkey is rightly suspect in fanning the flames there. Still though, it wasn't a war that shook up US society but again the horrid pandemic, which is still causing trouble and worse yet, everybody's getting nuts, enacting
