Been ages since I made a journal here, hah! Anyways, a friend has recommended me to start a fund raising thing since I'd like to buy me a legit license of Autodesk Maya, the world's leading software for 3D design and animation. I've finished studying 3D animation and now have a BTEC Professional Diploma in 3D Design and Digital Animation. I am quite efficient at using software like: Maya 3Ds Max SoftImage Photoshop After Effects Premiere Pro I'm able to do freelance jobs, permanent or contract jobs. I would like to get a job outside of South Africa. Preferbably in the USA. Should any of you know of any job opportunities for me, please let me know. Due to the fact that I have to do 160 hours of experiential learning for college, I thought it would be a good idea to ask a very talented artist if I can model one of his characters in 3D. He agreed to it and so I've started poly modeling the character. At the moment I'm busy with the head. I've worked my way so that I'm busy with his gums and teeth now. I plan to block out the character in Maya and then export the character to a powerfull digital sculpting program, ZBrush. After the modeling is done I can start texturing and rigging the character for a short animation with my own character during my June and July holidays. I'm enjoying the
