This could have had a massive potential. I'm not saying it's bad, not at all if I may say. But you should be aware that the subject and its base are leading to such high expectations when you used them at first. I was scared that things would jump at me, but they never did. I was scared that the sound will become more enchanting as it began so, and will sway me into the story, but it didn't. If you gave some scarier, more surprising elements, this would be mental. The design of the script also depresses the scary-mystical element that could have taken over this book. It's good, and since it has an amazing base, it's kind of sad that it's only good.
