Ok, un journal veloce dal doppio scopo. Primo: far sapere a quelli che ancora bazzicano qua attorno che sì, sono vivo. Non ho abbandonato DA, non ho abbandonato il disegno, non ho abbandonato niente. È il tempo di fare le cose – tipo postare i disegni – che ha abbandonato me!
Secondo, vorrei spendere due parole due sul film in uscita Alita: Battle Angel, tratto dal manga omonimo (in occidente) di Yukito Kishiro. Il discorso che vorrei fare è più o meno lo stesso che feci due anni fa (mammamia) su Ghost In The Shell, quindi nel caso qualcuno si sia perso quel journal, leggete qui: 
Alita è uno dei miei manga preferiti (probabilmente quasi quanto Akira), sotto ogni aspetto, quindi – esattamente come accadde con Ghost in The Shell – non ho il minimo interesse a vederlo interpretato da Hollywood, soprattutto sapendo chi è che ha prodotto e scritto il film (se mi conoscete da tempo, saprete che non stimo il cinema di Cameron).
Mi è bastato guardare i trailer per chiedermi "mapperché?" di fronte al modo in cui è stata resa la protagonista, ma non è nemmeno quello il motivo principale per cui non guarderò il film tratto da Alita. Di nuovo, fate riferimento al journal su Ghost in The Shell e dovreste capire ogni cosa.

Ok, a very quick double purpose Journal. Firstly: I wanna let know the ones still around here that YES, I'm still alive. I didn't quit DA, I didn't quit drawing, I didn't quit a single thing. It's actually the time to do things – such as post deviations – the one who quit me!
Secondly, I'd like to spend a couple words about the movie Alita: Battle Angel, from the Yukito Kishiro's manga of the same name (in the west). What I'd like to say is more or less the very same I already said two years ago (yikes!) about Ghost in The Shell; so, if someone didn't read that Journal, here it is:

Alita is one of my favourite manga ever (probably almost on par with Akira), from every point of view, and thus – just as with GITS – I don't have the slightest interest in seeing it through the eyes of Hollywood, especially knowing who wrote and produced this flick (if you know me, you also know that I don't like Cameron's way of cinema that much).
The trailer of Alita was enough to ask myself "but why!?" before the way in which the main character is depicted, but that isn't even the main reason why I'm not going to see the Alita live action movie. Again, see what I wrote about Ghost in The Shell and you'll probably understand everything.
